“In a public hospital of Itaguai, Rio de Janeiro, last weekend a baby girl was born with the hands glued together, as if she was praying.
The doctors told the parent that they would operate the hands of the girl on a very simple surgery. It was simple indeed, because as it seems the hands were only joined by some skin.
But when they opened the hands of that baby… you won’t believe what was written on them… “JESUS IS COMING!”

The doctors started to cry and soon everyone in the hospital too. The city of Itaguai is abuzz with it. People who distanced themselves from church are coming back and others are accepting Jesus as their savior. God brought that child to the world only to send that message, as some hours later she died.

Arsenal's Santi Cazorla may not be ready for start of season - Wenger

Arsene Wenger says that Arsenal's key midfielder Santi Cazorla may not be 'fully fit' at the beginning of the season.
The 31-year-old midfielder had missed five months of last season games having acquired a serious knee injury and later picking up an achilles problem.
The Arsenal boss says the midfielder may not be fully fitn by the start of the new season and this might cause a shortage of players on August 14 in their opening game against Liverpool .
Wenger also faces the prospect of missing key quartet Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny and Aaron Ramsey for the Liverpool game after they were given extended holidays following Euro 2016.

Kenya Power to begin Providing Internet in December


The Kenya Power and Lightening Company (KPLC) will roll out its fiber internet to homes in December after a series of delays, Managing Director Ben Chumo has said.

 The utility firm is targeting 12,000 homes in Nairobi in the pilot phase before rolling out the service countrywide.

The firm aims at taking advantage of the 5 million homes connected to electricity to deliver fibre internet to the homes.

 The first phase of the project aims at connecting 20 million people at once. KPLC formed an Internet service provider subsidiary called Kenya Power International to run its Internet business.

 The fibre-optic cable is set to run on KPLC power lines covering approximately 4ooo kilometeres. The MD Mr.

Chumo further added that the firms aims at making the service ultimately cheaper because the costs that would be incurred on digging trenches is saved.

Pope Francis Against Associating Islam with Violence


Pope Francis has condemned the habit of linking Islam with terrorism, saying that "nearly all religions" have a "small group of fundamentalists".

Reporters aboard the Catholic leader's plane flying him back to Rome on Sunday after a pilgrimage to Poland, asked him why he never uses the world "Islam" to describe terrorism or other violence. "It's not right to identify Islam with violence. It's not right and it's not true," he replied.

The pope was in Poland from July 27 until July 31 for World Youth Day, a week-long event attended by over a million pilgrims. "I don't like to talk of Islamic violence because every day, when I go through the newspapers, I see violence," the pope said, in apparent reference to news of crime in the predominantly Catholic country of Italy. "And these are baptized Catholics. If I speak of Islamic violence, then I have to speak of Catholic violence."

Noting he has spoken with imams, he concluded: "I know how they think, they are looking for peace." As for the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant group, he said it "presents itself with a violent identity card, but that's not Islam".

Location and time are not a hindrance according the guy. Whenever ready with the cash, he sends the ‘jini’ to the buyer if it is willing to travel. He adds that the 'jini' will be in the buyer’s control and they will be able to command it to do whatever they wish. Some benefits include wealth, prosperity, and handling difficulties .

The magical powers are reportedly from Congo and are loaned to a buyer for two years.


Game of Thrones to End at Season Eight

HBO has confirmed reports that Game of Thrones will be coming to an end at season 8.
Network executives confirmed that there will be only two more seasons of the hit show.

 Speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour in Los Angeles, HBO’s new programming executive Casey Bloys said that if it were up to him, he would have had the cast do more.

However, “ we take their lead on what they think they can do [to make] the best version of the show,” he said. Fans of the show are not uncatered for because according to Bloys the creation of a spinoff had been discussed.

 The seventh season of Game of Thrones will begin filming in in the coming weeks. The truncated season – just seven episodes instead of ten – will not air until the middle of 2017.

Game of Thrones has been nominated for 23 Emmys in 2016.
The number of episodes in season eight is however unknown.

Arsenal Fan Left Homeless After Losing Bet on Manchester United Game



Arsenal’s loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford was not only a shock to their Coach, but the outcome was even more painful for one careless gambling supporter in Uganda.

Henry Dhabasani, a Ugandan Arsenal fan has been left homeless after betting his house away on the result of the game with Manchester United.
Rashid Yiga who staked his new car, and his wife, that Manchester United would triumph. However, Robin Van Persie’s first-half header settled the match in United’s favour and left Henry counting his losses .

 To bind their agreement,the two men put down the agreement in writing with local leaders and fellow fans listed witnesses. Upon the end of the match, Henry who has three wives and five children fainted.


He was evicted on the following Monday, several Manchester United fans stormed his home and threw him and his family out.

Raila Caught Up In The Hillary Clinton Email Saga?


Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party candidate for US elections who is entangled in a scandal over her email account, received an email Raila Odinga. The mail includes an article about the CORD party leader.

The email in question dates back to 2009 when the premiere(Odinga) was serving as Prime Minister of Kenya. The email was sent from the a consulting firm within the US Democratic party to Clinton and it highlights an article about Clinton’s trip to Africa.

The email is entitled: “damn this is good…“ The email includes a story that touches on remarks that Odinga made regarding a Hillary’s state visit to several African countries. The CORD party leader had earlier in 2009 said that the then US Secretary of State shouldn’t lecture Africa on democracy.

Odinga’s comments only hours before Clinton arrived in Kenya were: “we don’t need lectures on how to govern ourselves. Lecturing us on issues that deal with governance and transparency is in bad taste.”

Amazon Boss Jeff Bezos becomes world's third richest


Strong earnings from Amazon and a boost to the company's stock have made its founder, Jeff Bezos, the world's third richest person, according to Forbes.

Mr Bezos owns 18% of Amazon's shares, which rose 2% in trading on Thursday.
Forbes estimated his fortune to be $65.3bn (£49.5bn). Amazon's revenue beat analysts' expectations, climbing 31% from last year to $30.4bn in the second quarter. Profit for the e-commerce giant was $857m, compared with $92m in 2015.

According to Forbes estimates, Mr Bezos's fortune is only surpassed by Microsoft founder Bill Gates, worth $78bn (£59bn), and the $73.1bn (£55bn) fortune of Zara founder Amancio Ortega.

Amazon had developed a reputation for announcing little or no profit each quarter, but appeared to hit a turning point last year and has seen improving earnings since. Amazon shares have spiked 50% since February

How Usain Bolt welcomed Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester United


After linking up today with his new Manchester united Team, Zlatan Ibrahimovic received a welcome message from Usain Bolt.

 After being given an extended holiday following his exploits at Euro 2016, he joined his team-mates for pre-season training Back at their training complex in Manchester, Zlatan missed their mini pre-season tour of China to rest in preparation for his first season in the English Premier League after his move from German side Paris Saint-Germain.

Usain Bolt, a big fan of Manchester United took a short break from his Rio Olympics preparation to wish Ibrahimovic a big welcome to the club.

Chicken Odour Prevents Malaria - New Research Shows

Researchers have found out that the smell from a live chicken could help protect against malaria.

Scientists from Ethiopia and Sweden have discovered that malaria-causing mosquitoes tend to evade chickens and other birds.
The experiments were carried out in Ethiopia where a live chicken in a cage was suspended near a volunteer sleeping under a bed net.
The researchers realized that using the chicken and the compounds reduced the number of mosquitoes found in the trap nearby.

According to the UN, in Africa alone, malaria killed nearly 400,000 people.

The malaria parasite which are of the genus Plasmodium, and initially hides in the liver before going into the bloodstream, is passed from person to person by mosquitoes when they drink blood. With the research published in The Malaria Journal, the scientists concluded that as mosquitoes use their sense of smell to locate an animal, they cannot bite chicken and some birds because there must be something in a chicken’s odour that sets the insects off.

Habtie Tekie of Addis Ababa University who worked on the research, said that the compounds that repel the mosquitoes from the smell of the chicken can be extracted and could be used as a repellent. Field trials for this stage of the research are now in the pipeline, he told the BBC. With reports that some mosquitoes are developing resistance to insecticide “new control methods” need to be developed and embraced.

FA Cup: Forth Substitute To Be Allowed


Clubs in the FA Cup Championship will now be allowed to use a fourth substitute during extra time in the final stages of this season’s FA Cup.

This format was put to trial in the Copa America this summer and is subject to approval from the International Football Association Board. The rule will be introduced in the FA Cup from the quarter-final stage.

The FA Chief Executive Martin Glenn said the move will add intrigue and interest, adding that player welfare had also been a consideration. He further added that it would be important that the FA continues to look at how it can further add to the“drama and spectacle of a competition enjoyed by millions of people.

The FA’s decision to remove replays from the quarter-final stage was another factor in the move. “Glenn said that with the cup now embracing a straight knockout design from the quarters stage to the finals forward, the introduction of a fourth substitute in extra time will bring extra intrigue and interest.

Again, from a technical point of view, it will be interesting to see how managers use the chance to make an extra substitution in such high profile games and the impact it has on the final outcome. The FA cup championship gets underway on Friday, 5 August with 184 opening matches taking place.

Medical practitioners and rotary officials in Arua have said that the consumption of tobacco and early marriages are among the lead causes of cancer in indigenous communities.

This statement was made during the launching of the Cancer Run campaign on Friday. According to Dr Ronald Debo, who is a Radiologist at the Regional Referral Hospital, reduction of cancer rates will only be achieved when we stop the consumption of tobacco as well as early child marriages, both of which are common in this region. Several girls married at an early age experience cervical cancer.” 

The doctor further stated that the money spent by people in cancer treating could be used to manage other diseases if the people adhered to the tobacco awareness campaigns.

Dr Joyce Moriku, the Minister for Primary Healthcare said that her ministry is committed to investing more funds in ensuring that the cancer equipment is acquired.
Approximately 80% of cancer cases are related to cancer of the cervix since most people also have several sexual partners in Uganda. The minister further noted that lack of early screening and treatment interventions has resulted in cancer patients being diagnosed when it is too late for curative treatment.

According to statistics from a recent study, 490,000 women are affected by cervical cancer and approximately 270,000 deaths are reported globally per year.

 Despite the rampant campaigns against tobacco use, many people across the West Nile area still grow the crop as their main source of income.



It should be noted that The Tobacco Control Act bans smoking in public places. This act has however not been fully implemented by a majority of states especially in Africa.

YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT THIS MAD MAN DID TO HIS FELLOWS WHILE THEY WERE ASLEEP


The neighbours of a mentally diabled people facility woke up on Tuesday morning to a shocking scene after a manbroke into the facility at night when everyone was asleep and stabbed 19 residents to death while wounding dozens more in what has been termed as Japan’s worst mass killing in ages.

 An eye witness, one Masae Mizoguchi said “This kind of thing does not happen in this country. These atrocities were committed so close to me,” said the 78-year-old.

 The residents of the facility were severely disabled, and were asleep at the time of the attack hence his ability to kill so many according to Mizoguchi.

 Another neighbor Oshikazu Shimo said that the town is quiet and peaceful and so she would never have thought such an incident would happen there.

 The city police have arrested Satoshi Uematsu, 26, who formerly worked at the facility. A Sagamihara city official said later that Uematsu had been involuntarily committed to hospital on Feb 19th for fear that he would cause harm others.

 He had drawn the authority’s attention after saying he was eager to kill severely incapacitated people, but was discharged on March 2nd after a medic supposed his condition had improved.

In February, the suspect had tried to hand deliver a letter he wrote to the speaker of the lower house, demanding all disabled people be killed through euthanasia. Uematsu boasted in the letter that he had the ability to kill in what he termed a revolution, and outlined an attack on two facilities, after which he said he would turn himself in. He also asked he be acquitted of the charges on grounds of insanity, be given 0.5 billion yen in aid and plastic surgery so he could lead a normal life afterward.

 The letter was reproduced by Kyodo after the attack.

 Japan’s worst previous mass killing was in 2008, when a man drove a truck into a crowd and began stabbing people in Tokyo’s popular electronics and “anime” district of Akihabara, killing seven people. In 2001, a knife-wielding man killed eight students in an elementary school in Ikeda in Osaka Prefecture.

Shock as Pope Francis Declares ‘Great Majority’ of Catholic Marriages Invalid


Pope Francis has been recently quoted as saying that “The great majority of our sacramental marriages are null,” in a spontaneous response to a question on what the Catholic Church should do concerning the “crisis of marriage”, generating another argument over Catholic teaching.

 'It is the culture of the provisional. And this occurs all over, also in sacred life, in spiritual life,' the pope said after n statement at the Basilica of St. John Lateran in Rome, where a diocesan conference on families was being held.

“It’s temporary, and due to this the majority of our sacramental unions are worthless because they say 'Yes', for the rest of their lives!” but they are unaware of what they are saying. They say it with a good will, but they don’t know what it really means,” said Francis.

 Reports indicate that 29 year old Blessing Machowa was detained after he purportedly r*ped a church member whom he said had goblins in her stomach and could only be done away with using his manhood.

 He has now been dragged to a Harare court and has been charged with rape. He was incarcerated and was advised to approach the High court for bail application. He will appear back in court on August 2 for trial start of trial.

 Earlier on, the police had found out that in June 2016 at 3pm, he asked the complainant to visit him at his residence. He then asked the complainant to carry along plain paper, needle , razor blade, blue pen and a red pepper which he claimed were for cleansing the evil spirits that were in the lady.

An eye witness confirmed to us that the boys and girls are usually highly intoxicated with drugs before performing the sexual acts. After being intoxicated, they are given a maximum of 20 minutes to engage in the beastly acts with the animals and the payment is normally very little.

What hurts even more is that the ages of these young boys and girls range from 8 to 17 year. Astonishingly, the frequently used animals are the dogs for reasons unknown.

60 Year Old Caught Selling Fried Human Flesh


An alleged Nigerian old woman was on Wednesday accused of selling human body parts as fried meat in a popular market in Accra, Ghana.

 According to a local Ghanaian radio station, the woman raised suspicion by her bizarre movements at the Adabraka Market and observant dealers are said to have dragged her to the Adabraka Police Station.

Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, ASP Afia Tenge confirmed the arrest saying that the woman is half Nigerian and half Ghanaian.

The woman was identified as Florence Uju Appiah and is 60 years old.

 The woman confessed to the crime saying she was instructed by her spiritual pastor to sell the meat to make a living.

 The woman further claimed that she had come to sell her meat at Makola but passed by Adabraka market but she was new in the market. She however claimed that it was cow meat she had purchased from Makola to come and sell at Adabraka market.

 The police were however unable to determine whether the meat was human meat or otherwise, so they forwarded it to the National Crime Investigation Department for forensic testing to show if it is human meat or not.

The police urged people to be calm until the forensic result have been acquired due to an angry mob that was passionate about lynching her before the arrival of the police who came to her rescue.
